Jason is a BAFTA nominated director who began his career as a platinum selling music producer. Transitioning to the world of TV and Film after a stint working in strategic consultancies, he co-founded Project Must Entertainment (PME), an independent production company focused on documentary, scripted, content and music projects.
As an inaugural recipient of the Netflix Documentary Talent Fund, his doc short for the platform entitled Love Languages was BAFTA Longlisted in 2023 for British Short Film and has been selected for numerous Oscar and BAFTA eligible festivals, winning best documentary at the BIFA qualifying Wimbledon International Short Film Festival and best short documentary at the Magnolia Film Festival in Mississippi.
He recently received a BAFTA Craft Emerging Talent: Factual nomination for his ITV documentary Our Jubilee which looks at how the experiences of being Black and British has changed over the 70 years of the Queen’s reign.
