About the Event
Feeling Safe: Transforming TV & Film Culture
Bullying, harassment or discrimination of any kind can have a profound, complex impact on mental health. And although a lot of work is being done to create change, allegations of bullying, discrimination, harassment and toxic cultures are still rife within the TV and film industry. We'll talk through the cultural changes that need to happen in the industry to ensure that people are psychologically and physically protected and what more needs to be done to ensure best practice in duty of care before, during and after production. How can we better safeguard the mental health of staff, including on-screen talent, production teams and freelancers?
